These prices are effective as of January 28, 2025 but are subject to change without notice.
The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
Basic Services of the Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for: direct cremation, immediate burials, forwarding or receiving remains.) This fee includes the following services rendered:
- Personnel available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year to respond to the initial call.
- Arrangement planning.
- Coordinating service plans with cemetery, crematory, and/or other parties involved in the final disposition.
- Preparation of necessary forms for governmental agencies.
- Overhead of facility maintenance, equipment, and inventory regulations, liability insurance and governmental compliance costs.

Preparation of the Body (Embalming)
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. However, Embalming may be necessary if you select certain funeral arrangements such as a funeral with a viewing. If you do not want embalming ,you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Transportation
Transfer of remains from place of death to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory
- Within 50 mile radius. Additional distance will be charged at $2.75 per mile.
Funeral vehicle (e.g Hearse)
- Within 50 mile radius. Additional distance will be charged at $2.75 per mile.
Transfer of remains to or from Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport
- Additional distance will be charged at $2.75 per mile.
Transfer of deceased from funeral home to place of autopsy and return to funeral home .
- Within 50 mile radius. Additional distance will be charged at $2.75 per mile.
Service Vehicle (Securing Permits and Death Certificates)
- Within 50 mile radius. Additional distance will be charged at $2.75 per mile.
Family vehicle (Suburban)
- Within 50 mile radius. Additional distance will be charged at $2.75 per mile.

Forwarding Remains to Another Funeral Home
This charge includes removal of remains, minimum service of staff, necessary authorizations, embalming, use of preparation room and transportation to the Airport (excluding shipping charges). This charge does not include visitation and ceremonies. This charge applies only to shipment within the continental U.S. only.

Receiving Remains from Another Funeral Home
This charge includes minimum services of staff, and local transportation of remains to the cemetery within a 50 mile radius. This charge does not include visitation, funeral ceremonies, burial vault or transportation from the airport or other place of shipment within a 50 mile radius.

Immediate Burial
Our charges for immediate burial (without any visitation or ceremonies at the funeral home, graveside or elsewhere) include limited Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff for immediate burial, Refrigeration, transfer of remains from place of death to funeral home, transportation of remains to cemetery.

Immediate Cremation
If you want to arrange an immediate cremation, you can use a cremation casket, unfinished wood box or an alternative container. Alternative containers will encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are cremation caskets, hardboard, fiberboard and heavy cardboard. Our charges for Direct Cremation (without ceremony) include the removal of remains, ON-SITE CREMATORY FEE and minimum of services.
