Theodore “Ted” Norman Freeman

Theodore “Ted” Norman Freeman, 92, of Columbus, GA passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 15, 2022 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The Rev. Stephen Brinkman will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Ted was born July 4, 1930 in Roanoke, GA to the late Deedie Showwalter Freeman and Bebbie Holsombeck Freeman. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After the war he returned to the Columbus area where he worked in the construction industry. He founded Freeman and Associates in 1982 and he retired from the company in 1999. He was a faithful member of Morningside Baptist Church since 1959.
He is survived by his sons, Andy N. Freeman (Dana), Mark R. Freeman (Charlotte), daughter, Carol A. Freeman and friend Janet Stephens, grandchildren; Taylor Freeman (Jessica), Leslie Freeman Tubbs (Nathan), Kacie Freeman Layfield (Chad), Christy Güt (Brandon), great-grandchildren; Morgan Acree, Tanner Freeman, Sophia Tubbs, Caleb Tubbs, Margaret Tubbs and Tatum Tyson.
