Ret. MSGT Kermit Roseberry, 96, of Fortson, GA died Wednesday, December 7, 2020 at his residence.
A Military graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 14, 2020 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Mr. Gary Ibbotson officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, face coverings and social distancing will be required during the graveside service.
Kermit was born August 6, 1924 in Columbus, OH to the late Milton James Roseberry and Gertrude Poe Roseberry. He served in World War II, retired from the United State Air Force and United States Air Force Reserve. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Winnie Ruth Roseberry, and step-daughter, Nelda Hollinger (Wendell).
He is survived by his daughters Kathy VanZandt (Daniel), Kandy Roseberry, Barbara Cordle (Melvin), Terry Lemay (Donald), Sherry Duffy (Robert), step-children, Sandra Cannon, James Q. Courtney Jr. (Macrina), Lori Ibbotson (Gary),Lisa Courtney, 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren.
