Randolph "Randy" Martin Kiel

Randolph “Randy” Martin Kiel, 58, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage everyone to make the best decisions to remain safe. If anyone wishes to attend the service, please remember to remain 6 feet apart from those not in your household and wear personal protective equipment.

Randy was born January 25, 1963 in New York, NY to the late Konrad Kiel and Theresa Binder Kiel. He was a Columbus Police officer for over 38 years before retiring. He enjoyed wood working, barbecuing and loved listening to his rock music.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Montajean Kiel of Columbus, GA, sons; Austin Kiel of Phenix City, AL, Bobby Kiel of Columbus, GA, favorite fur baby companion, Molly, and father-in-law Richard Rocha. He is also survived by his brother-in-laws; Bobby Rocha (Susan) and Richard Rocha (Elizabeth) along with nephews Richard (Vivian), Christopher (Anne Elise), Joseph (Kerry), niece Elizabeth (Jeromy), and countless other friends and family from the Columbus Police Department.

Flowers will be accepted, but those so desiring may make contributions to their favorite charity in honor of Randy.
