Judith Judy Medlock

Judith “Judy” Medlock, 83, of Columbus, Georgia, died Friday, January 20, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. David Lix officiating. Interment will be held at Park Hill Cemetery following the service at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2023 at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA, 31907.
Judy was born July 31, 1939 in Blakley, GA daughter of the late Roy Roberson and Vivian Woolf Roberson. She was a teacher in the Muscogee County School District for 30 years, while also being a Member of Liberty Baptist Church and an honorary member of the Muscogee Rotary Club. Judy loved to read, Square dance, and spend time with her fur babies and family. Other than her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband, James Wilburn Medlock and brother, David Roberson.
Judy is survived by her daughter, LouAnn Medlock, son, Jay Medlock (Patty), brother in-law, Dan Elmore (Wanda), sister in-law, Brenda Roberson, grandchildren, Jonathan Jenkins (Roxie), James William Medlock, John Diamante (Elizabeth), Elizabeth Martin (Adam), Stephen Diamante, Brad White, Jaisha White, Iliana Delgado,seven great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews and other family members.
