Carroll Edward Cosby, 76, of Salem, AL died Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Emory Evans and Rev. Frances Corbin officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Cosby was born February 24, 1943 in Columbus, GA son of the late William Ellis Cosby and Maude Ruth Posey Cosby. He was the owner of Cosby Floor Covering and was a member of Faith Temple Assembly of God. He loved Auburn football, NASCAR, and loved visiting Panama City Beach, FL.
Survivors include his wife, Cubie Dean Ellis Cosby of Salem, AL, son, Michael Cosby (Melissa) of Heflin, AL, daughters, Cindy Lawson and Patricia Cosby, sister, Betty Jo Cosby of Salem, AL, step-sons, Jason Davis of Milton, FL and Jeff Davis (Lauren) of Salem, AL, 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
