Brent Andrew Brannon, 27, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Cartersville Medical Center in Cartersville, GA.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, October 18, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Judy Hay officiating. A private interment will be held at Waverly Hall City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Brent was born November 10, 1987 in Columbus, GA son of Judith "Judy" Brannon of Columbus, GA and Grady Brannon (Cindy) of Waverly Hall, GA. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of 4 years having served in Afganistan.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grady and Mary Brannon and his maternal grandmother, Joanne Stavarius.
Survivors other than his parents include his brother, Greg Brannon (Saehee Kim) of Littleton, CO, paternal grandfather, John Stavarius, Sr. of Columbus, GA, aunts and uncles, Vicki Collins, David Stavarius, John Stavarius, Jr., Linda Kunkle and Frances Jackson, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society 233 12th St. Suite 710 Columbus, GA 31901.
