Winifred N. Debiaw
February 27, 1929 — November 28, 2023
Winifred N. Debiaw, 94, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, Ga. She was from Auburn, New York but called Columbus home.
A private graveside service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
She was a loving wife, mom, grandma and great grandma who we all called “Ma”. She had the best career. She was a stay at home mom and homemaker who was always there for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Geldon Debiaw, parents, Ruth and Glen Phillips, four sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Stanley) Watson of Lewisburg, Tennessee, Cynthia (Steve) Haines of Forsyth, Georgia, son, Eric (Paula) Debiaw of Upatoi, Georgia, grandchildren, Stanley (Stacy) Watson of Pensacola, Florida; Loren (Whitney) Watson of Spring Hill, Tennessee; Jacque (Jon) Farr of Bethlehem, Georgia; Ron (Angela) Jackson of Suwannee, Georgia; Brian (Carey) Jackson of Castle Haynes, North Carolina; Kasen Debiaw, of Upatoi, Georgia, great-grandchildren, Brady Watson, Blake Watson, Gracyn Watson, Graham Watson, Lillian Farr, Anna Grace Jackson, Luke Jackson, Will Jackson and Ben Jackson, several nieces and nephews.
She loved her entire family dearly and she will be greatly missed.
