Wilma "Ruth" (Wise) Griffith

Wilma “Ruth” Wise Griffith 89, of Columbus, Georgia died Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Phenix City, Alabama.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Trinity Assembly of God Church 101 Bascom Court Columbus, Georgia 31909 with Rev. Charlie Pritchett officiating. A private interment will be held in Riverdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the services at the church.
Mrs. Griffith was born July 12, 1932 in Noma, FL. daughter of the late James Solomon Wise and Ruby Ann Smith Wise. She was a faithful member for over 40 years at Grace Church of the Nazarene. Ruth enjoyed reading and traveling when able. She will be remembered as a loving caregiver to many people and working at Eastern Heights Baptist Church in the daycare. She was loved by all that knew her.
Other than her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her children, Robert and Tommy Harvey and Rev. Chuck Griffith two sisters and one brother.
Survivors include her two sons; Andy Harvey of Columbus, Ga., Eugene Harvey and his wife Jackie of Smiths, AL. daughter; Lee Ann Hall and her husband Tommy of Columbus, Georgia, 5 grandchildren, Michael Harvey, Michelle Hall, Patrick Hall, Maci Wright and her husband Matt, Cami Griffith and 2 great-grandchildren Charleigh Wright and Griff Wright.
