Wilma Jean Cooley Coe, 84, of Columbus, GA died Monday, August 6, 2018 at Columbus Hospice House.
A private family graveside service will be held Thursday at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends Thursday 10:00 to 11:00 AM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Wilma was born July 27, 1934 in Woodbury, GA daughter of the late James Hoyt Cooley and Nellie Bell Cooley. She was employed with Bev-Rich as a lab and machine operator. She was a member at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church and attended Cascade Hills Church. She loved her family, faith in God, and watching her grandchildren play sports.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Coe and her son, Donald Coe. Jimmy, Kenneth and Annette Coe also preceded her death.
Survivors include her son, Richard Coe (Barbara) of Birmingham, AL, daughters, Gloria Coe Hall (Royce) of Columbus, GA, Lisa Phillips of Panama City, FL, Tracey Eggert of Columbus, GA, sisters, Janelle Whitten (Warren) and Betty Faye Gay both of Woodbury, GA, 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and family members.
