William D. "Butch" Willis, 60, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Gentiva Hospice.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Butch was born August 8, 1956 in Columbus, GA son of William D. "Bill" Willis, Sr. (Judy) of Sterling, IL and the late Patsy Coleman Watson. He loved golf, Auburn football, NASCAR, and his granddaughter, Landry.
Survivors other than his father include his daughters, Whitney Nelson (Matt) and Abby Sims (DJ), mother of his children, Kim Ammons Bentley, granddaughter, Landry Sims all of Columbus, GA, brother, Andy Willis (Sherri), sisters, Kathy Watson Lanius (Earl) and Tammy Watson Thomas (Ben) all of Phenix City, AL, nephews, Colby Willis (Kellie) of Newnan, GA and Cam Willis (Blaire) of Fortson, GA, and great nephew, Lawson Willis of Newnan, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Valley Rescue Mission 2903 2nd Ave. Columbus, GA 31901.
