William Timothy Webb, Sr.

William Timothy (Tim) Webb, Sr., 78, of Midland, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at his residence. A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Tim was born March 01, 1943, in Trion, GA, son of the late James Wesley Edwin (J.W.) Webb and Margaret Pieretti Webb Bennett. He was a United States Air Force (SGT) Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He attended Young Harris College and retired as a Regional Manager from the Georgia Department of Revenue.
Tim had a beautiful tenor voice and had sung with the Columbus Symphony Chorus. He also loved to sing solos in his church choir. He enjoyed attending and watching his grandchildren play sports every chance he had. Tim could be found sitting behind home plate at every practice and game.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Webb of Midland, GA; sons, William Timothy (Tim) Webb, Jr. (Barbie) of Columbus, GA, Marcus Christopher Webb (Cannon) of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Ava Webb, Mason Webb; grandchildren by marriage, Tiffany Kernodle, Kaleb Kernodle; sister, Beverly Ragsdale (Charles) of Hamilton, GA; niece, Susan Powell (Tracy); nephew, Greg Ragsdale (Hope); great nieces and nephews, Kylie Miller (John), Carson Powell, Grayson Ragsdale, Holland Ragsdale; stepsisters, Keila Beaird (Butch), Teresa Richard; step brother, Terry Webb.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to PAWS Humane Society at 4900 Milgen Rd. Columbus, GA 31907, or Columbus Hospice House, 7020 Moon Rd. Columbus, GA 31909.
