William Toney, 88, of Daytona Beach, FL died September 08, 2020 at Halifax Hospice Care Center in Ormond Beach, FL.
Gravesides service will be held 11:00AM Friday, September 11, 2020 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Funeral Home. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, those attending the funeral service will be required to wear a face mask and social distancing will be in effect.
William was born September 21, 1931 in Pittsview, AL to the late James Toney and Bernice Toney. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Theresa Mary Toney. He served in the United States Army and worked as a buyer in Home Furnishings for Kirven’s. He loved spending time with his family and visiting his siblings on the weekends.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Dean, son, David Cappaert, Jr., grandchildren, David Dean, Tiffany Dean, 4 great-grandchildren, sister, Martha Motley, numerous nieces and nephews.
