William L. Bryan, 88, of Midland, Georgia died Monday, November 09, 2020 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Ga. 31907. A private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery.
In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory will require facial coverings during the visitation.
Mr. Bryan was born September 20, 1932 in Eufaula, Alabama son of the late Caleb Bates and Carrie Cummings Bryan. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and retired as a textile supervisor with the Bibb Company.
Mr. Bryan was a member of Cascade Hills Church, and enjoyed playing his guitar, growing daylily’s in his yard, listing to gospel music and playing golf and bowling.
Other than his parents, Mr. Bryan was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Nannie Mildred Bryan and his grandson, Justin Bryan Paul.
Survivors include his daughter; Carol Paul and her husband Mike of Midland, Georgia; brother, Frank Bryan of Shiloh, Georgia; grandson, Brent Paul and his wife Kacie and their children Kolson Bryan Paul and Kade Cameron Paul all of Phenix City, Alabama.
