Wendy was born May 29, 1967, in Columbus, GA to the late Ralph Gardner and Maudie Baggett. Her life was a testament to the enduring strength and warmth of her spirit. She was a beacon of love and friendship, whose kindness touched everyone she met.

Wendy, a proud graduate of Hardaway High School's class of 1985, carried the determination and drive of her youth throughout her life. She furthered her education at Columbus State University before joining her father in the workforce, a decision that led her to a fulfilling career. For over 20 years, Wendy served as a dedicated customer service representative at Aflac, where her warmth and humor became a hallmark of her professional relationships. She was not just an employee but a cherished colleague whose involvement with the company went beyond her work responsibilities, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.

Beyond her career, Wendy's interests painted the picture of a life rich with passion and joy. As a child, she tumbled and flipped as a gymnast, an early indication of her zest for life and a metaphor for her ability to navigate life's twists with grace. Her love for Auburn football was not just a pastime but a legacy, inherited from generations of family fans. Music, in all its forms, was the soundtrack of her life, and she reveled in the live energy of concerts, sharing her enthusiasm with friends and loved ones.

In her personal life, Wendy was the embodiment of love and kindness. Her husband, Bradley, stood by her as her unwavering partner, and together they created a home filled with laughter and generosity. Wendy's culinary skills were legendary; she cooked with the heart of a chef and the soul of a caretaker, always ensuring there was more than enough to go around. Her home was a welcoming haven, a place where no one was a stranger and everyone left as a friend.

Wendy's nurturing nature shone brightest in her interactions with children, particularly babies. She had a special gift for calming and caring for them, a talent that brought joy to many families and peace to many infants. Her great sense of humor, sometimes without a filter, always ready with a quip or a smile, ensured that her presence was a source of comfort and happiness. If anyone wanted an opinion, one would need to be prepared to receive hers.

Those who knew Wendy will remember her as loving, kind, and friendly – words that only begin to describe the depth of her character. She was a woman who lived her life with an open heart and an open door, whose legacy will be the love she shared and the lives she touched.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bradley, children, Brittany Elizabeth Harrison, Sgt James Franklin Harrison and four grandchildren, sisters, Jennifer Gardner Wynn, Amy Gardner Mobley, and their husbands, Richard Mobley, and Philip Wynn, along with step-father, Donnie Baggett, mother-in-law, Beverly Lee.
