Webster Albert Hix, III, 64, of Columbus, GA died Friday, August 19, 2016 at Orchard View Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Hix was born April 15, 1952 in New York, NY son of Ana D. delPozo Hix of Columbus, GA and the late Webster Augustus Hix, II. He retired as a Computer Programmer at Tom's Foods. He was a member of Wynnbrook Baptist Church where he sang in the choir and was a Sunday School teacher. Mr. Hix also was an AWANA Commander.
Survivors other than his mother include his daughter, Kimberly Hix Walton (Kevin) of Lafayette, AL, son, Darren Webster Hix of Jasper, AL, brother, Ed Hix of Concord, NC, sisters, Katherine H. Peterson of Ft. Worth, TX and Doris H. Carr of Columbus, GA, and six grandchildren, Kaylee, Noah, Wilson, Ava, Connor and Levi.
