Wayne G. Irions, 56, of Columbus, GA died Monday, September 27, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Hamilton City Cemetery in Hamilton, GA with Chaplain Bill Mayhew and Reverend Aaron Balbridge officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Irions was born May 19, 1954 in Erlanger, Germany son of the late Woodrow and Cora Banks Irions. He retired as the Manufacturing Coordinator for Lummus Industries, and was a member of Britt David Baptist Church, Cimarron Dance Club and a life member of the Columbus Bass Trackers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Boren Irions, two sons, Bobby Irions and Danny Irions (Sherri) and five grandchildren, Tiffany Hutcherson, Brittney Hutcherson, Haley Irions, Peyton Irions and Ansley Irions.
