Warren “Bud” Mealor, II, 71, of Cataula, GA died Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Parkwood Health Center in Phenix City, AL.
A visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday, August 29, 2021 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Bud was born September 28, 1949 in Woodbury, GA to the late Walter and Martha Bojannan Mealor. He worked as an electrician for over 50 years. He loved picking the strings on his guitar and played with many bands in the Southeast. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Mike Mealor.
Bud is survived by his son, Warren “Bud”, Mealor III (Dusty) of Columbus, GA, daughter, Lisa Trainum of Columbus, GA, sisters; Judy Amos (Jack) of FL, Wanda Hix (Billy) of Cordele, GA, Rose Marie Andrews of Columbus, GA, brothers; Billy Mealor (Brenda) of Marietta, GA, Lynn Mealor of LaGrange, GA, grandchildren; Jackson Mealor of Columbus, GA, Lauren Story of Douglasville, GA, and Alli Woodall of Columbus, GA.
