Wanda Sue Lee, Secretary, Carver High School (Retired) 54, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at her home.
The Homegoing Celebration for Wanda Sue Lee will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Glenn Anthony Baptist Church with Rev. Markus Hammonds officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
During this time of mourning, the sisters will be gathering at the home of Ann-Marie Lee, 5045 Third Ave. Columbus, GA.
Miss Lee was born September 28, 1962 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Mr. James Charles and Mrs. Emily Worthington Lee. She is better known as the "Baby Daughter". She always told everyone that Mother and Daddy loved her best because they loved us the longest! She was a dedicated member of the Muscogee Association of Educational Office Professionals (MAEOP). She was very proud to raise money to further the education of students.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Finn Hudson Elliott.
Surviving her departure with cherished memories include her three sisters, Mary Nell Chauncey (Dewey); Debra Carroll (William E.); and Ann-Marie Lee, four nieces and nephews, Tracy Marie Chauncey Johnson (Ken); Lisa Carroll Elliott (Jacob); Crystal Chauncey Wigenton (Matt); and Larry Carroll (Chelsey), nine great nieces and nephews, Hunter Johnson, Ashlynn Wigenton, Sarah Carroll, William James Carroll, Teagan Wigenton, Shawn Johnson, Sawyer Elliott, Logan Johnson, and Emilee Elliott, and extended family, Daniel Jordan.
