Wanda Lee Cook

Wanda Lee Cook, 87, of Box Springs, GA died Monday, November 20, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Geneva Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Carter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at Geneva City Cemetery following the services according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Wanda was born December 13, 1935 in Lineville, AL to the late Thomas E. Carter and Dovie Carter. She worked as the City Clerk in Talbotton, GA. and was a faithful member of Geneva Baptist Church. She loved watching the Braves, cooking and most of all spending time with her family. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Albert Cook, daughter, Joann Meacham Bonniot, sons, Dewayne Meacham and Kenneth Meacham.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Parker of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Joey Park (Sonja) of Williamsburg, VA, DeWayne Meacham, Jr. of Box Springs, GA, Tiffany Jordan (Ronnie) of Noblesville, IN, great-grandchildren, Anna Meacham, Thomas J. Park, Jacob Park, Raymond Park, Eli Jordan, daughter in laws, Linda Meacham (Dewayne) and Nancy Meacham (Kenneth), numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
