Virginia L. Worth, 86, of Columbus, GA died March 6, 2023.
Memorial services will be held 6:00 PM Sunday, March 12, 2023 with Rev. Mark Hudson officiating at First Baptist Church in Cusseta, GA, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Virginia was born April 15, 1936 in Warner Robins, GA to the late Norman Lee “Red” Davis and Florence Cummings Davis. Mrs. Worth was a life time member of the First Baptist Church in Cusseta, GA where she was the Choir Director for many years. She enjoyed music of any kind, cross word puzzles, loved her precious dog “Angel” and was a very dedicated NASCAR fan “GO #24”.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Danny Mason and Tim Worth.
She is survived by her sons Robert Worth (Georgia) of Columbus, GA, Jim Mason of Macon, GA. Daughter, Robin Worth Thrasher (Don) of Phenix City, AL. Brothers, Gary Davis (Judy) of Water Valley, MS and Durward Janney (Lynn) of Columbus, GA. She also has seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
