Virginia Sue White, 71, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Brookside Glen.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Monday, November 11, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Katrina Paxin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mrs. White was born July 8, 1948 in Dallas, TX daughter of the late Virgil and Luvener Spears Ethridge. She worked in Banking Operations for Synovus and was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church. She loved fishing, gardening, boating at the river and going to the beach.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. White and sister, Barbara Haralson.
Survivors include her son, Charles "CB" Palmer (Misty) of Waverly Hall, GA, sister, Dot Mulgrew of Columbus, GA, brother, Steve Ethridge (Blythe) of Hayesville, NC and 2 grandchildren, Hailee and Trey Palmer of Waverly Hall, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Beulah UMC 5165 Lee Rd. 270 Valley, AL 36854.
