Virginia Trawick Dudley Storey, 89, of Columbus, GA died Monday, August 22, 2011 in Columbus.
A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 PM Friday, August 26, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Chaplain Vern Jordin officiating.
She was born February 16, 1922 in Columbus, GA the daughter of David Raiford Dudley and Margaret Ingraham Dudley. She was raised in the St. Elmo area and attended Columbus High School. In her early years, she worked at Kirvens and the Columbus Ledger. On September 10, 1948, she married Emmett Leroy Storey and they were blessed with three children. She was a very gentle, loving mother. She was a long time member of Wynnton Baptist Church, later named Wynnbrook Baptist where she was chairwoman of the Flower Committee and was always known as the â
