Virginia Ruth Minnix, 92, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Magnolia Manor.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM EST Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Memory Gardens of Eufuala, 205 Gammage Rd. Eufaula, AL 36027, with Pastor Jerry Speer officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM EST Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Minnix was born July 12, 1929 in Columbus, GA to the late Robert Lafayette Tomblin and Virginia Driver Tomblin. She retired as a bookkeeper from Archer Hosiery Mill.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Ralph Minnix.
Survivors include his children, Esther Radcliff (Willis) Columbus, GA, Marsha Griffith (Ken) of Smith Station, AL, Joseph Minnix (Janet) of Middleborough, MA; grandchildren, Corey Hall (Nichole) of Loveland, CO, Bubba Coram (Cindy) of Phenix City, AL, Benjamin Minnix (Kim) of Danvers, MA; great grandchildren, Isaac Minnix and Savannah Minnix.
