Virginia Lee Giles Jones, 63, of Pine Mountain Valley, GA died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Vista Care at Franciscan Woods.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Tommy Thomas officiating. A private interment will be held at Riverdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Jones was born August 11, 1948 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Wilbon Fletcher Giles and Essie Martin Giles. She retired with over 30 years as a teacher at Bibb Elementary and Fox Elementary Schools and was a member of Church of Christ in Pine Mountain Valley.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Ralph Casey.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Andrew Jones of Pine Mountain Valley, GA, step sister, Eloise Cook (Jack) of Pensacola, FL, sister-in-law, Nancey Casey of Columbus, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
