Virginia M. Davis, 84, of Phenix City, AL died Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Gentiva Hospice in Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Stafford Road Church of Christ, 11025 Lee Road 240, Phenix City, AL with Reverend Steve Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, October 14, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th Street, Phenix City, AL 36867.
Mrs. Davis was born October 12, 1929 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Henry A. Bryan and Loura Wright Bryan. She retired as a sales clerk with the Commissary at Ft. Benning, GA. She was a member of Stafford Road Church of Christ in Phenix City, AL.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Fred Davis.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice Crenshaw (Jimmy); sons, Randy Davis (Beth) and Ronnie Davis (Sarah) all of Phenix City, AL; nine grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
