Violet Elizabeth Robbins
February 1, 1941 — February 13, 2025
Violet Elizabeth Robbins, 84, of Columbus, GA passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital.
A memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, February 21, 2025 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907. A visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Ft. Moore Main Post Cemetery
Violet was born February 1, 1941 in Columbus, GA to the late Halmon Fenizee Densmore and Violet Elizabeth Bosswell Densmore. After high school, Violet sought out to become an educator herself. When she found the time between being a wife to Leroy Robbins, raising five children, and selflessly teaching the future generation, she enjoyed the Arts. Violet also had a soft spot in heart for cats, whom she loved relentlessly.
In addition to her parents, Violet is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Brian Robbins.
Violet is survived by her children, Kenneth Michael Robbins of Wichita, Kansas, Vikky Robbins Ward of Box springs, GA, Brian Robbins (Nori) of Midland, TX, Julie Robbins Bemid of Columbus, GA, and Lisa Robbins Lauve (Herbert) of Columbus, GA; sisters, Lucille Sweaingen of Summerville, FL, Jan Lee of Brian, TX, and Nancy Densmore of Hurst, TX as well as three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
