Viola Maria Arnold, 82, of Cataula, GA died Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Muscogee Manor Nursing Home.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 10, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will be held at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Arnold was born January 10, 1931 in Germany daughter of the late Jakob Miller Schneeberger and Emma N'ee Zercher Schneeberger. She retired from Milliken Mills in Pine Mountain, GA.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Homer Arnold.
Survivors include her daughter, Rosemarie Roth (Jack) of Columbus, GA, sons, Steven Arnold (Faye) of Phenix City, AL and Robert Arnold of Cataula, GA, brother, Holger Schneeberger of Phenix City, AL, numerous nieces and nephews, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
