Vida Lee Watson, 95, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Wilhite officiating. A private interment will be held at Harmony Cemetery in Richland, GA. The family will receive friends Monday, May 6, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Watson was born October 16, 1917 in Enigma, GA, daughter of the late James L. and Emma Lou Taylor Hollomon. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Millard Watson and her granddaughter, Tiffany D. Watson.
Survivors include her son, Allen Watson (Barbara); daughters Linda Gaylor and Carol Weekley all of Columbus, GA; and two grandchildren, Deena Whatley of Atlanta, GA and Casey Whatley of Columbus, GA.
