Vickie Ann Willis, a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, at the age of 69, in her hometown of Columbus, GA, due to natural causes. Vickie, a woman known for her boundless generosity, creative spirit, and courageous heart, left a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by her family, friends, and community.

Celebration of Life will be held 4:00PM EST Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Pierce Chapel Assembly of God  2084 Co Rd. 427 Phenix City, Alabama with Boyd Cochran officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd Columbus, GA 31904.

She was born on June 27, 1955, in Columbus, GA, Vickie was the beloved daughter of Wayne and Sara (Roberts) Everhart. She grew up in a warm and loving family, alongside her sister Patti Everhart. A proud graduate of Carver High in 1973, Vickie's vibrant personality and keen intelligence were evident early on in her life.

Vickie's professional journey was marked by her exceptional talent in sales and her ability to connect with people. She began her career in real estate, partnering with her friend Jan, and quickly demonstrated her knack for business. Her charismatic approach led her to Acme Business Products, where she excelled in selling copiers and copier supplies, earning multiple awards and international trips for her top-notch sales performance. Vickie's gift of gab was legendary; she could sell anything to anybody and never met a stranger. Her career path also included selling Cadillac’s at Bill Heard Chevrolet and, ultimately, sharing her passion for home aesthetics by selling furniture at a local store in Columbus, Georgia.

Vickie's zest for life extended far beyond her professional endeavors. She was an avid dancer, and her love for cooking was unmatched. Her home was always a hub of entertainment, filled with the aroma of delicious meals and the sound of laughter. Vickie's hospitality was a true reflection of her generous nature, ensuring that no guest left without a full belly and a heart full of joy.

Her artistic flair was visible in everything she touched, from her vibrant garden filled with flowers and butterflies to her statement-making flower pots that adorned her home. Vickie had an eye for beauty and a hand that brought it into existence, ensuring that the ordinary was always transformed into the extraordinary.

The beach and the mountains held a special place in Vickie's heart. She cherished her trips to Panama City, Pensacola, and Gatlinburg, where she found peace and rejuvenation in nature's splendor. These places were sanctuaries for her adventurous and spirited soul.

Vickie's life was a testament to the power of love and family. She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Wayne and Sara Everhart, and her cherished sister, Patti Everhart. Her legacy lives on through her three loving children, Dara Neville, Stephanie Neville, and Justin Willis; her adored grandchildren, Kylee Meyer, Daylin Brinkley, Canyon Butler, Kaiden Baxley, and Cami Butler; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Adalyn Meyer and Asher Meyer. The joy and wisdom she imparted to her family will continue to guide them through their lives.

Vickie Ann Willis will be remembered as a woman who embraced life with open arms and a heart full of courage. Her creative touch, warm hospitality, and fearless approach to life's challenges have left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
