Vicki Joyce (Chapman) Gregory

Vicki Joyce (Chapman) Gregory, 60 of Columbus Georgia passed away December 11th after a two year battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Gentian Baptist Church with Rev. David Hardwick officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.

Vicki was born on January 2nd 1961 at Martin Army hospital daughter of Eddie Joyce Chapman and the late Bobby Crowe Chapman. She leaves behind her loving husband of 42 years Bobby, their three sons Robert, Nick and Doug as well as eight grandchildren. She also leaves behind her mother, Eddie Joyce Chapman, brothers, Mike, David, Greg and Steve, mother-in-law, Sybil Ruth Gregory, brother and sister-in-laws, Danny, Charlie, Debbie, Becky and Teresa. She met Bobby in 1974; they were inseparable and were married on June 16th 1979. It was truly a love story of its own. All of the dreams and plans they had for the future at the time of marriage were lived out. Actually those dreams started well before they were married.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, better known as Nanny. She got the most enjoyment with time with family. She loved her husband, sons and their families as well as her mothers, brothers, sisters and their families very much. Nothing would brighten her day as much as the eight grandchildren who she loved and cherished dearly. During her fight with cancer, nothing would bring her more joy than seeing them. She will be dearly missed by all but always in our hearts. The good memories are countless.
