Veronica Chambers Jones, 69, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Gentiva Hospice.
A memorial service will be held at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Jones was born August 10, 1947 in Huntsville, TN daughter of the late Clegie and Marie Chambers. She was a U.S. Army Veteran and later became a homemaker/domestic goddess.
Roni was a member of Gentian Baptist Church and she walked what she talked in Jesus. She loved to shop for others, and was selfless with her giving. She loved to sing, and would share the gospel through her beautiful voice with all who would listen. Roni was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
She is loved and missed by her husband-James Jones, daughters- Michelle Morway and Jaime McCann (husband Joshua), grandchildren-Ashton Robbins, Kyle Pate, Liam McCann and Jones McCann, great grandchild-Timothy James (all of Columbus, GA) and a brother, sisters, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews in Tennessee.
