Verena Rena Mooneyham

Verena Rena Mooneyham, 81, of Phenix City, AL passed peacefully after a long illness at Piedmont Hospital with her loving family by her side.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31097

Verena was born in Mannheim, Germany to the late Mr. and Mrs. Weisbrod. She was a homemaker raising three children and taking care of the house, meals and her husband, the love of her life. In addition to caring for her family she also loved and groomed her 3 Chow Chow’s. She was a strong, loving, and caring person to all.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Delores Flanagan.  Survivors include her husband, Craig Mooneyham of Phenix City, AL, son: Henry Flanagan of Columbus, GA and daughter: Juanita “Kitty” Searles (Stephen) of Opelika, AL.
