Ursula Rosa Ackerman, 87 of Columbus died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Ackerman was born November 25, 1925 in Nerchau, Germany daughter of the late Martin Faber and Toni Junghanns Faber. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bramwell Joseph Ackerman; son, Martin Ackerman and sister, Gretel Faber.
Survivors include her son, Henry Ackerman and wife Genive; sister, Edith Satterwhite ; granddaughters, Lori Kube and husband Dale and Jessica Ackerman all of Columbus, GA.
