Tommy Lee Willis, Sr., 50, of Pine Mountain, Ga. died Friday, August 10, 2018 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Medical Center.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at St. Johns C.M.E. Church, 172 Davis Lake Road, Pine Mountain, GA., 31822. The family will receive friends following the services at the church.
Tommy was born January 11 1968 in Birmingham, Al. He grew up in Waverley Hall, GA. and graduated from Harris County High School and earned a Culinary Arts Degree from West Georgia Technical College. He was a dedicated family man who coached his son Tommy, Jr's football teams and until his passing, he was his daughter's Zoe's coach and biggest fan in her pursuit to play softball at the college level. He loved sports, and watching movies.
Tommy was preceded in death by his uncles, Lonnie Willis, Larry Willis, and Curtis Willis, and dear cousin Felica Willis-Miller.
Tommy is survived by his mother, Bettie Green, wife, Marybeth Willis (nee Bukowski), children, Zoe Willis and Tommy Willis, Jr., all of Pine Mountain, GA, Grandchildren, Carlo Luke, Carmelo Willis, and Zayden Willis, Aunts, Barbara Willis (JohnHenry), Annette Davison (Leon), and Uncle, Watson Willis. Tommy also leaves behind family members he considered his brothers and sisters: Samantha Brooks, Derrick Willis, Tracy Willis, Latanya LaGrand, Bernitha Davison, and Chris Satterwhite and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
