Tommy L. Dunn, 68 of Phenix City died Monday, February 27, 2012 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at there home, according to Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th St. Phenix City, AL.
Mr. Dunn was born November 26, 1943 in Phenix City, AL son of the late Archie and Lucy Pearl Floyd Dunn. He was a US Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Columbus Housing Authority in the maintenance department. He loved his show dogs, going bowling and doing woodwork. He was a baptist by faith.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Zachery Dale Dunn.
Survivors include his wife, Janice C. Dunn of Phenix City, AL; sons, Tommy L. Dunn, Jr. (Lisa) of Monzello, GA and Shannon Dewayne Dunn (Dana) of Eclectic, AL; sister, Mureen Marsh (Chester) of Columbus, GA; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren; special friends, Lavon and Janet Stroud and several nieces and nephews.
