Tommie L. Hines, 71, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Beallwood Baptist Church 4650 Veterans Parkway Columbus, GA 31904 with Rev. Billy Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Hines was born January 21, 1946 in Columbus, GA son of the late Tommie Lee Hines and Emma Spivey Hines. He worked as an Assembler for Charbroil. He loved the Lord and enjoyed helping others. Mr. Hines was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne Hines and brother, Ronnie Hines.
Survivors include his loving wife, Beverly Price Hines, daughters, Sheila Hines and Karen Hines all of Columbus, GA, brothers, Andy and Linda Hines of Columbus, GA, Lemuel and Gayle of Marietta, GA, Bennie and Donna Hines of Florida and David and Cathy Hines of Columbus, GA, sister, Hazel and Charles Cox of Florida, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter.
