Todd Alphonse Howell, the brightest star was extinguished this week, departed this realm on Monday, January 27, 2025, Columbus, GA.

An intimate service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, February 15th, 2025 at 2:00 PM at 4044 Reese Road, Columbus, GA 31907 according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Georgia 31907.

Todd was born in Reynolds, GA on February 14th, 1964 – Year of the Dragon, to Joyce Mildred and the late Edwin Edison Lee Howell, he traveled the world with his family until settling in Reno, NV. Here he married his wife and soulmate of 37 years, Anastacia and raised three amazing children, Heather Ashley, Destynee Shayla and Jayde Michael Howell.

He was so many things to so many people. He was a talented musician who loved music in all its forms, spreading this passion to many others. He was a superior consultant in the railroad industry for most of his career and gave numerous years of volunteer service in his communities. He was a chart topping dungeoneer, a hero among his peers. He was the master of humor, bringing new meaning to the term “Dad jokes” and a smile to every heart he touched. He was a collector of oddities that matched his unique and adorable personality. He was an exemplary Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Bobo (grandfather), Friend, Master Gamer, Cenotes Spelunker, Dolphin Rider, Volcano Hiker, Reef Snorkeler, Wizard’s Herbalist, Riverboat Dancer, Martial Artist, Baseball Pitcher, Graphic Designer, Hammer Striker, Wise Thayne, Soul Guardian, Celtic Wolf, Dad-O-War, Path Maker and Guiding Light. His vibrant energy will be missed in the world.

He is survived by his wife, mother, brother Edwin Mitchell Howell, three children and three wonderful grand babies.  Every time we see a star twinkle, we will know he is watching us from Valhalla and his spirit remains with us.
