Timothy Allen George, 41, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Columbus, GA.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 3-5 pm Sunday, February 28, 2021 at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA. 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 social distancing and facemasks will be required during the visitation.

Timothy was born July 31, 1979 in Columbus, GA to the late Edward George, Sr. and Shirley Edith Charles George (Plemons).

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Plemons of Columbus, GA., step mother, Erika George of Columbus, GA, son, Kreston Jade George of Columbus, GA ,brothers, Edward George, Jr. of Columbus, GA, Christopher George(Terrie) of Cataula , GA, Nathaniel "Jared" George (Jacki) of Cataula, GA, niece, Brianna George of Cataula, GA., nephews, Brantley George of Columbus, GA, Morgan Springer, Kaleb George and Grayson George all of Cataula, GA., great nieces, Paisley Smith, Anna Grace Springer and Maylee Rae Springer all of Cataula, GA, many aunts , uncles and cousins across the country. So many loving friends one can hardly count.

The bond between Tim and his brothers was unlike no other.

He was a family loving man who could always make everyone smile and laugh. Tim had a gentle heart that he only showed to a few such as brushing his adopted niece’s (Raelin Ray) hair gently.  He was the only one she would let brush her hair. He loved basketball and Alabama football. He loved the outdoors and could manicure one heck of a lawn.

Tim “Remy” as many knew him will be greatly missed and loved by all.

Until we see you again, keep dancing with pops in Heaven.
