Timmy A. Hess, 55 of Columbus died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Vista Care Hospice at Franciscan Woods.
A memorial service will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Reeves and Rev. Randolph Gillens officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
Mr. Hess was born July 7, 1955 in Warren, Ohio son of the late Fannie Hendricks Hess and Paul Hess. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran. He worked at K Mart for 25 years and different law enforcement agencies in Columbus. In 2004 he was the First Vice President of CLEA (Citizens Law Enforcement Academy) and President in 2007
Survivors include his sisters Kathy Farr of Warren, OH and Paula Barcomb (David) of Niles, Oh; brothers, Tommy Hess (Vivian) of Warren, OH and Terry Hess of Orlando, FL and many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
The family would like to say a special thanks to cousins, Wanda Hudson, Lana Wills, K Mart family and law enforcement agencies of Columbus.
