Tillman Leroy Miller, Sr., 79, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Mike McBride officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Miller was born November 20, 1937 in Columbus, GA son of the late Jesse Leroy Miller and Beulah Pauline Whitley Miller. He graduated from Columbus High School and Auburn University with a degree in Textile Engineering. He was the Vice President of Kinnett Dairy and later was a Dairy Commodities Broker. He also created TLM Enterprises. Mr. Miller was a member of Trinity Assembly of God and the Columbus Senior Softball Association.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rudy Miller.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Jeraldine "Jerrie" Miller of Columbus, GA, daughter, Laura Grimes (Brent) of Columbus, GA, son, Tillman L. Miller, Jr. (Demisha) of Childersburg, AL and daughter, Elizabeth Tooker (Tim) of Phenix City, AL, sisters, Sue Renfroe (Bobby) of Phenix City, AL and Nita Donaldson (Gene) of Smiths Station, AL, brother, Larry Miller (Carol) of Lawrenceville, GA, grandchildren, Whitley Grimes, Charlie Grimes, Austin Krug, Callum Krug, Lexie Johnson, Caleb Walker, Katie Tooker Mitchell and Mathew Tooker, great grandchildren, Marilyn Ivey, Abbigail Ivey, Cameron Krug, Ella Mitchell and Luke Mitchell.
