Thurman "Rusty" Russell Shaw, Jr. 61, of Upatoi, GA died Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at his residence.
Memorial service will be held 2:00PM Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 9 Barley Court, Ft. Mitchell, Alabama 36856, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory.
Thurman was born April 29, 1961 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Thurman R. Shaw, Sr. and Elizabeth Irvin Shaw. He loved the outdoors and was a long time member of Woodman of the World.
He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Shaw of Ft. Mitchell, AL, granddaughter, Lillian Pond of Ft. Mitchell, AL, brothers, Bob Shaw of Columbus, GA, Edward Shaw (Jennifer) of Thomasville, GA, sister, Libby Massiah- Minton (Tommy) of Columbus, GA, aunt, Joyce Bush of Chauncey, GA and multiple nieces and nephews along with several great nieces and nephews.
