Thomas V. Ward

SFC (Ret.) Thomas V. Ward, Sr., 75, of Phenix City, AL died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend David Howle officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Ward was born November 4, 1939 in Olmstead Falls, OH son of the late George Ward and Catherine Roth Ward. He retired from the U. S. Army.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Antonia P. Ward; sisters, Judy Perdue and Bonnie Sue Ward; great grandson, Tyler Ward and great nephews, Johnathan Perdue and Dennis Readenour, Jr.
Survivors include his sons, Bruce L. Ward (Aeran) of Anchorage, AK, Mark L. Ward, Sr. and Tommy V. Ward, Jr. (Linda) all of Columbus, GA; daughter, Christine Kitts (Ricky) of Columbus, GA;sisters, Debbie Nowak and Sharon Honaker of Ohio; brother, Bill Ward of Ohio; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
