Thomas L. "Buddy" Bush, Sr., 78, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Columbus Hospice House. Graveside services will be held 2 PM Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Parkhill Cemetery with Dr. Kevin Calhoun officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, November 13, 2009 from 4 to 6 PM at the daughter's residence 5605 Terrace Pointe Ct. Columbus, GA 31909 according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Mr. Bush was born June 7, 1931 in Hawkinsville, GA son of the late Thomas L. and Sadie Martha Lindsey Bush. He had worked for C & L Transport as a truck driver. He had also worked for Valley Produce and The Concrete Company. Survivors include his wife of 60 years on January 10, 2010, Martha Jean Bush of Columbus, GA, two daughters, Sandra McAuliffe (Jim) of Columbus, GA and Cindy Carroll (Ronnie) of Columbus, GA, son, Thomas L. Bush, Jr. (Vicki) of Phenix City, AL, sisters, Doris Hudson of Columbus, GA and Margie Webb of Santa Fe, NM, seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
