Thomas Edward Brockman

Thomas (“Tom”) Edward Brockman, 68, of Columbus, Georgia passed away suddenly on December 5, 2022.

Tom was born on August 9, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in southern New Jersey. He was a devoted husband, caring father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and brother-in-law to his family.Tom graduated from Stockton State College with a B.A. in Computer Science and worked as a technology specialist in database administration and programming. As an IT consultant for many years, Tom worked for U.S. Healthcare, Aetna, and finally TSYS until his retirement.An amateur carpenter and gardener, Tom very much enjoyed improving his home. He had an affinity for Porsche sports cars, playing golf, and fishing of any kind. He also enjoyed boating and scuba diving in the Caribbean. A lifelong football fan, he was thrilled to see the Philadelphia Eagles capture their first Super Bowl championship in 2018.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Herbert, as well as his son Steven.

He is survived by his wife Stephanie, sons Christopher and Benjamin and their families, sister Susan, nephews Bryan and Matthew, and sisters-in-law Johannah and Kristina.

A memorial service for family and friends to share memories of Tom will be held in the Philadelphia area early in 2023.
