Thomas Earl Britt, 70, of Waverly Hall, GA died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with CLP Charlie Carlisle and Reverend Lorne Whitley officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Britt was born June 18, 1942 in Lumberton, N.C. son of the late Grover Britt and Roberta Rozier West. He was retired from the U.S. Army 1st Cavalry Division having served in the Vietnam War. He later retired from Callaway Gardens as a security guard and was also a member of the American Legion.
