Theresia O. Kinsman

Theresia O. Kinsman, 93, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, April 6, 2023 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, April 10, 2023 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Jerry Speer officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the service.

Theresia was born February 8, 1930 in Esslingen, Germany daughter of the late Johann and Sofie Ostermann. A loving and dedicated Christian, and in her younger days loved walking to church. She loved all the babies and children, and was always taking care of other people’s children. Always cooking big meals for family, friends or neighbors who were in need or sick. Her favorite thing was baking cakes, for anyone and everyone.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Earl Kinsman, Jr; daughter, Betty Kinsman Casey; sons, Robert “Bobby” Kinsman, Walter Earl Kinsman III, Ronald “Bimbo” Kinsman; grandson, Terry Duane Kinsman.

Survivors include her son, Jack Kinsman Sr. (Yvonne) of Midland, GA; grandchildren, Jack Kinsman Jr. of Columbus, GA, Kristi Kinsman-Stokes of Pine Mountain, GA; great grandchildren, Hunter, Chase, Brandon, Garrett, Annslee, Lacey, Alyssa; daughter-in-laws, Pam Kinsman of Wetumpka, AL, Wanda Cook of Columbus, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
