Theresa Vandenberg 39 of Ft. Mitchell, AL died Friday at the Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus.
Mrs. Vandenberg was born September 11, 1970 in Ft. Knox, Kentucky daughter of Carol Francis Hay Oakley of Columbus, Ga and the late Harold Elmer Mauko. She was a 1988 graduate of Spencer High School, and had worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, a disk jockey going by Tera Sheppard for Clear Channel Radio and McCluskey Orthopedic Institute.
Survivors include her mother, Carol Francis Hay Oakley (Benjamin) of Columbus, GA; husband, Robert Lee Vandenberg of Ft. Mitchell, AL; one son Daniel Mauko of Ft. Mitchell, AL; three daughters Daven Lynn Vandenberg, Mary Avalee Vandenberg, and Sara Francis Vandenberg all of Harris County, GA; and two brothers, Stephen Mauko and Christopher Mauko both of Ft. Mitchell, AL.
Flowers will be accepted, those so desiring may contribute to Emory University of Atlanta, Ga.
