Thornton, Mrs. Theresa Taylor, 61 of Columbus, GA, died April 22, 2020 at Piedmont Northside Hospital. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
She was born May 2, 1958 in Fort Polk, Louisiana, daughter of the late Linwood Taylor and Eileen Thomas Taylor. She was retired having worked several jobs. She had a love for family, children and animals. She loved to write. She was an avid pool player and poker player. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Nessmith and Patty Hales.
She is survived by her husband, Grady E. Thornton, Jr. of Columbus, GA, her brother Robert Taylor, Columbus, GA. Nieces, Alisha Grizzard, and Amy Gunter, nephews David Gibson, Jr., Jimbo Harper, Jake Harper and Joe Harper, great nieces and nephews, Melody Parker, Micah Parker and Madison Parker.
