Theodore Glen Roessner, 66, of Midland, GA died Sunday, November 22, 2015 after a long battle from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disese at Columbus Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Pastor Judy Hay officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Roessner was born June 18, 1949 in Olympia, WA son of the late Lewis Arthur Roessner and Barbara Jean Martin Roessner. Ted graduated from North Thurston High School in Olympia, WA and attended the University of Washington in Seattle. He graduated with honors from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, majoring in Accounting. He worked as an IT Manager for AFLAC and was a beloved member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church in Duluth, GA where he was an Elder. Mr. Roessner was also a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Theodore McGill and Viola Martin McGill.
Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Beverly Roach Roessner of Midland, GA, son, David Glen Roessner (Amber) of Knoxville, TN, sister, Denise Roessner Warren of Olympia, WA, two brothers, John David Roessner of Tacoma, WA and Wayne Allen Roessner of Tacoma, WA, grandson, Joseph Glen Roessner of Knoxville, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Green House at Calvary and Columbus Hospice House for their outstanding care Ted received.
